AION 2 Founder's Pack Tiers, Binding, Refunds and Twitch Drops

AION 2 Global is free to play. The Founder's Pack is an optional bundle of Early Access days, cosmetics and starter items, sold in three tiers. This page lays out what each tier includes, which items are bound to your character or server, how upgrades and refunds differ between Steam and PURPLE, and what to do if you skipped Early Access. The Twitch Drops schedule is at the end. We don't say whether a pack is worth it. That's your call.

TL;DR

Three tiers: Standard, Deluxe and Ultimate. Each one includes everything in the tier below.
Sales end Oct 5, 08:00 PT (15:00 UTC).
One pack per account per platform. Buying more gives no extra rewards, and Early Access days don't stack.
Platform-locked: a pack works only on the platform you bought it on, Steam or PURPLE.
Upgrades: PURPLE lets you pay the difference. On Steam you refund and buy again.
Skipped Early Access? Your items still wait for you on any server.
Cosmetics only: NC says the title, skins, pet and wings are appearance-only, with no stats.

Because most items are tied to one character or one server, decide where your main character will live before you claim.

Steam vs PURPLE: upgrades and refunds

	Steam	PURPLE
Upgrade to a higher tier (while packs are on sale, until Oct 5, 08:00 PT)	No direct upgrade. Refund, then buy the tier you want	Pick the higher tier. What you already paid counts, so you pay only the difference
Refunds	You can cancel before release. After release, only within 14 days and with under 2 hours played. The store's own refund policy also applies	Same rules
Support ticket	NC's help center asks for your platform, ID and receipt	Same

For everything else that differs between the two launchers, see Steam vs PURPLE.

Skipped Early Access? Your items still wait

You don't lose anything by skipping Early Access. After it ends, you can claim your Founder's items on any server with the dedicated Founder's Pack claim button. Since most items are character- or server-bound, claim them on the character you plan to keep.

The included 30-day membership

Every tier includes one Special Quai Membership (30 days). The 30 days start when you press Activate, not when you buy the pack, and the benefits apply to the server where you activate it. For what the membership unlocks, see free to play and membership.

Are Founder's items pay-to-win?

We don't give a verdict, only NC's statements. NC says the title, skins, pet and wings in the Founder's Pack are appearance-only, with no stats. The other contents are Early Access days, a 30-day membership, a supply chest and appearance vouchers.

Can you still get a Founder's Pack?

NC's notice says Founder's Pack sales end Oct 5, 08:00 PT (15:00 UTC). After that, check the Steam store page or PURPLE to see whether it's still listed. NC hasn't said anything about later sales in the notices we use.

FAQ

What's the difference between Standard, Deluxe and Ultimate? Standard gives 5 days of Early Access, a supply chest, the Vanguard of Atreia title and a 30-day membership. Deluxe adds the Ascended Daeva armor skin and the Eternal Sun weapon skin chest. Ultimate adds the Daeva's Styling Chest, the Moonlit Aria armor skin, the Black Dragon pet and the Blazing Sun Wings.

Are Founder's Pack items account-wide? No. NC's table marks each item as character-bound or server-bound, and the Eternal Sun weapon skin chest is marked both class-bound and server-bound.

Does a Steam Founder's Pack work on PURPLE? No. Each pack is playable only on the platform it was bought on.

Can I buy two packs to get double rewards? No. It's one pack per account per platform. Extra purchases give no extra rewards, and Early Access days don't stack.

Can I upgrade my Founder's Pack? While packs are on sale: on PURPLE, yes, and you pay only the difference. On Steam, refund and buy the higher tier.

Can I get a refund? You can cancel before release. After release, only within 14 days and with under 2 hours played, and the store's own refund policy also applies.

Can I play AION 2 without a subscription? Yes. NC says AION 2 is free to play with an optional monthly membership. See free to play and membership.

Do Twitch Drops need a Founder's Pack? NC's Twitch Drops page asks you to link your Twitch account and says rewards are for Global server players. It doesn't mention a Founder's Pack.
